I have to say that I didn't expect it to be such a good product. It is charged with a USB-C cable (a plus point that it doesn't require batteries), my boy can see what is being focused on through the good sized screen. Plus, you can take photos...what more could you ask for!! As for the image quality, it is more than enough for a young kid and it's great for me to take to parks, etc., and keep him entertained looking for things to see.

The microscope has excellent image quality; you can see the fibers of a tissue, a hair follicle, moles, etc., with great quality. It focuses super easily and quickly, and the screen for viewing the image is ideal. I bought it for my 6-year-old son but I use it myself.

This is a wonderful item! I recommend buying it. Its magnifying properties surprised me a lot!!! I couldn't even imagine that it would zoom in so well and clearly!
